This is the at the crux of the problem. It’s simple math. If you can learn the skills needed to get a $100k job in 3 months at a “hack” trade-school, for < $20k of debt, and start MAKING $$ almost immediately… How in the world would SPENDING $150k+, over FOUR YEARS.. somehow make more sense, and have more value?
That’s not even taking into account the amount of ACTUAL, APPLICABLE experience the former earns in those first 3.75 years, while the latter is being fed a multitude of different topics that they’ll most likely never come across once they eventually get around to starting an actual career. And in the off-chance they do come across a problem requiring one of these tidbits of info, they can Google the problem for solutions, for FREE, and in a fraction of the time.
