Gah, for real? I’m slightly confused by his website, which says that his position on education is “Gov. Johnson believes there is no role for the Federal Government in education. He would eliminate the federal Department of Education, and return control to the state and local levels.” I have no idea what that would mean in terms of funding (presumably eliminated, if there’s no DoE to disburse it…?) or anything else.
