Now We Have to Worry About “Vacation Shaming”
Megan Reynolds

My (excellent) manager is currently on a three-week European vacation, and I fully intend to copy his behavior in the future. Forecast was locked, and literally the next day he took off. If he had left two weeks earlier in the middle of our forecasting cycle, I would have had a nervous breakdown, but that would just… never happen. I’d estimate about 15–20 people of our 50 person team are currently on vacation right now because it’s the perfect time to go away and not leave anyone covering your projects.
