The tension between wanting to buy books and support authors vs. using the bejeesus out of my public library card is so, so real. I’ve settled on using my good ole public library for most of my reading, and then when I find a book I know I want to re-read or author that I read multiple works, I’ll go and purchase from the (independent) book store.
