My day begins with reaching for my phone. I know this is unhealthy, but I do it anyway. I can’t help but want to see what messages I’ve accumulated during my downtime.

If anything excites me on my phone, I’ll get out of bed right away. If not, I’ll likely lay there for 15–20 minutes and think about what I’m going to work on first.
