Lowe’s and Boys and Girls Clubs Unite to Renovate Clubs across the US
Since 2013, experienced insurance and estate-planning professional Raymond Gault has served as a senior vice president with the Sarasota, Florida-based firm Capitas Financial. An involved member of the Sarasota community, Raymond Gault has worked in support of several nonprofit organizations in the area, including his local Boys & Girls Clubs.
This fall, Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the country will benefit from the Lowe’s Renovation Across the Nation initiative, which will provide a $50,000 grant to one club in each state. The clubs will use the grants to perform repairs, update amenities, and/or expand facilities that promote club members’ creativity and well-being.
As part of the $2.5 million initiative, more than 1,000 Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers will use their skills to assist club members and staff in performing the critical repairs. Over the last eight years, Lowe’s and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have worked in partnership to update and refurbish 130 clubs. The 2016 Renovation Across the Nation initiative marks a significant expansion of this partnership and promises to enhance the Boys & Girls Clubs experience for thousands of youth.
