8 Simple Ways to Disrupt the Status Quo

You know that helpless feeling you sometimes get when reading the news?
You see the world moving in a certain direction — and it feels like you can’t do anything about it.
It’s a horrible feeling… being angry and powerless as you read what’s happening to your society.
The politicians and media seem to be living in a totally different world from you and me.
But there’s good news — things are starting to turn around.
People all around the world are fighting back — and you have the power to make a difference.
You can feel it — something is slowly changing. In Europe, the migrant crisis and the recent jihadist attacks seem to have disturbed a sleeping giant. Establishment political parties, from Austria to France, are getting crushed at the polls — the beginning of a populist backlash. People are hitting the streets and pushing back against the political and media establishment.
Rather than getting frustrated with the way things are going, you can take action. It’s time to join the ranks of those who are fighting to protect our civilization and future.
Here are eight simple actions you can take to make a difference:
1. Hit the Streets
Throughout Europe people are taking to the streets in opposition. Whether it’s a massive PEGIDA rally in Dresden or a multi-city information street campaign — the uprising is underway. Here’s a recent example from Germany that could be duplicated anywhere:
Ein Prozent (One Percent) is a growing movement taking a stand against the endless influx of asylum seekers. The group calls for a grass-roots “civil rights movement” that represents the interests of Germans/Europeans, with the goal of getting support from 1% of the population.
Recently small groups of people (3–12) hit over 40 cities throughout Germany with public information campaigns. The strategy was to target high-traffic areas by displaying a large banner and handing out information flyers. The German patriots were able to bypass the controlled media and take their message directly to thousands of people. One small team, for example, managed to cover four different locations in one day, from crowded shopping areas to the city center.

Any small group could duplicate the strategy, with two people holding up a sign/banner and two people handing out information flyers. This approach helps broadcast the message, raise awareness, and recruit new members. You don’t have to wait around for the media to report the facts or your politicians to make better decisions, just grab a few friends and hit the streets.

2. Network
With things spinning out of control in the world it can sometimes feel lonely and depressing. But the truth is you are not alone — many people share your frustrations and goals for a better society. Networking with others can provide a much-needed morale boost.
There’s also strength in numbers. A small group of people working together on a local issue is much more effective than fighting alone. With trust in the political and media establishment hitting new lows, now is the time to join and create groups with specific goals.
3. Start a website
Anyone can start a website — you don’t have to be a technology nerd. Namecheap is a great resource where you can purchase a domain name and get your website hosted within minutes. Their customer service is excellent and their prices are cheap.
You can cover all sorts of content or stick with a specific theme. One great example is Ann Corcoran in the United States, who started a blog on refugee resettlement and the shocking information she uncovered.
4. Make Videos
Videos are a powerful tool for broadcasting information and raising awareness. Whether the topic is the migrant crisis or Islam, an attention-grabbing video can get millions of views. There are many different formats:
- Raw video depicting an event
- A narrated collection of video clips
- An explanation with a slide deck
- An explanation with news headlines
- A personal narrative explaining a theme
5. Research and Learn
You’re probably short on time between work, family, and all the other hassles of life. By the end of the day, most people would rather just sit back and unwind in front of the television. But there are many other interesting and informative alternatives to the mind-numbing effects of TV and pop culture entertainment:
- Research topics that aren’t being covered well in the media.
- Watch a free Youtube documentary.
- Research the history, customs, and achievements of your ancestors. For example, if you have Swedish roots, learn about the vikings and Scandinavian culture — it’s a deeply rewarding experience.
By getting informed on important issues you can make a much bigger impact. Remember, most of the news/entertainment we get through mass-media is dumbed-down, politically correct, demoralizing garbage (to put it nicely). So it’s probably a good idea to limit your time with most media and instead focus on a select few outlets to stay updated.
6. Get Active Online
There are many things you can do online to spread information and promote the cause. Aside from the website and video advice above, here are a few other examples:
- Post comments and video/article links on various websites.
- Create social media accounts centered around a specific topic (Twitter, Facebook, etc).
- Sign petitions, write emails, and forward articles.
Be sure to utilize a good VPN service whenever you’re online to protect your privacy and security.
7. Be Creative
People everywhere are finding creative ways to fight back. One interesting example is the “Identitaire” movement, comprised of Europeans who are “proud of their roots and their heritage.” This rebellious and growing group started in France and has spread to other countries, such as Belgium, Austria, and Germany. They vow to fight for the rights of European people against a never-ending influx of asylum seekers. Here are a few recent examples of the “Identitarians” in action:
“Islamization Kills” video from Graz, Austria (April 2016)
French Identitarians below have vowed to “fight in the field” to protect European identity and culture:

Young Swedish people, who were frustrated by the Islamization of their city, decided to broadcast an Islamic “call to prayer” at 6:00 in the morning. Check out the video on youtube.
8. Push Back at the Local Level
Your best chance for change is at the local level, where you can really put pressure on your representatives. The key here is to get specific on your goals, network with others, and make it happen.
Here’s a video of people fighting back in Romania — just as an example. This video illustrates how a small, determined group of people can pressure politicians to change their plans.
NOTE: We do not support any form of violence or breaking the law — the videos above are just examples of people taking a stand.
It’s Time to Make Your Voice Heard
The next time you feel frustrated with what’s happening, get motivated and do something about it. All eight of the actions above are simple and easy to carry out.
The three basic themes for success are:
- Getting information out to others.
- Focusing most of your energy on local issues/outcomes.
- Working toward specific goals.
Sure, it might feel good to sign a random petition on change.org and post that information on your Facebook wall, but you can have a much bigger impact by using other strategies. Society will go in whatever direction we to take it. You can make a huge difference when you decide to take a stand.
