Recently we wrote about Alloy’s plans for the next chapter. As we made clear then, we remain committed to making available Alloy’s tools and technology to the broader Democratic and progressive ecosystem. Moreover, we have been exploring those options in a way consistent with our data principles, and with ensuring that our work remains radically affordable and radically accessible.

Today we’re excited to announce that we’ve begun to explore with Civitech how we may plan to transfer our innovative data platforms and technology and expand on our partnership to carry on our shared mission of building a stronger democracy…

Georgia runoffs and 2021 wind down

In 2020 we succeeded at helping 60 partners register and turnout voters all across America, and enabled voter protection organizations to access key insights faster than ever. We’re proud to have supported nonpartisan partners who focused on the right to vote, and those with a more partisan mission who helped deliver a historic number of voters to ensure that Joe Biden is now the President-elect.

Alloy began with a clear and simple idea that we could bring transparency, collaboration, and innovation to political tech. We were committed to doing so responsibly, and that’s exactly…

Updated with new voter registration deadlines for Florida and Arizona

This weekend, as several states reached voter registration deadlines, and as we marked one month from election day on Sunday, Alloy Verify crossed 15 million voter registration status checks! That’s the direct result of our partners across the progressive ecosystem who have carried out incredible work to ensure more Americans have their voices heard, and that we close the data gap that left too many potential voters on the sidelines in 2016. …

How Alloy’s Verify API is supporting VoteAmerica’s end-to-end online voter mobilization experience

With early voting already underway in several states, we’re kicking-off a series highlighting the work of our partners, and how it’s helping strengthen our democracy. Check your voter registration status and see all the ways VoteAmerica is helping voters at voteamerica.com.

The strength of our democracy depends largely on the ability of the American people to exercise their right to vote. In 2016, too many Americans either lacked the information they needed or got mired in the chaos of our voting systems. …

Today we mourn the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who spent her life and career working to make our country stronger and truer to its stated values. That Justice Ginsberg was only the 2nd woman ever appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1993 is a reminder of how recent the progress toward equal rights that she championed truly is. Justice Ginsburg’s legacy is that she opened doors for Americans who, throughout our country’s history, had seen opportunities limited, and fundamental rights denied. Women like those leading this company today stand on her shoulders.

While we mourn…

The latest release of Source this week includes improved and expanded contact information and millions more unregistered potential voters

This week we’re delivering our latest release of Alloy Source, and it expands significantly on contact information for existing voters, as well as adding millions of more potential voter contacts. This information is critical for our partners working on voter registration in the few weeks leading to voter registration deadlines. Alloy Source helps partners across the progressive ecosystem find and register new voters, and mobilize existing voters. This new release puts even more data in their hands!

Some key highlights of what we’ve added in this new release

  • Over 9.4 million “Not Registered” individuals

We’ve also supplemented our existing data…

Alloy’s work in support of Democratic and progressive organizations reached important milestones this past week with the signing of our 38th partnership just as Alloy Verify surpassed two and a half million voter registration status checks! That’s a huge testament to the hard work of so many people on our team who work day in and day out on the infrastructure and systems to deliver data to our partners. It’s also a huge testament to the hard work happening across the progressive ecosystem, where the organizations we serve are reaching out to potential voters every single day.

Alloy is a…

Below is Alloy’s statement on the passing of Congressman John Lewis:

We join the millions around the world mourning the passing of John Lewis and celebrating his life and legacy. Despite being confronted with tremendous violence and intransigence throughout his life, John Lewis never stopped believing that America could live up to its ideals and stated values. His decades of service and his unyielding courage helped open the door for millions of Americans to cast their ballots, but his passing is a reminder that we have a long way to go. Our work to help Americans register to vote and…

We’re proud to announce that our first version of Alloy Source is now available through an innovative subscription model that makes voter data radically affordable and radically accessible to Democratic and progressive causes. The team has been working tirelessly to vet commercial data providers to improve voter contact rates and help find unregistered potential voters. Alloy Source is a powerful dataset designed to help progressives win up and down the ballot in November.

In past election cycles, campaign investments in tech and underlying infrastructure haven’t been enough to keep up with rapidly evolving technology and demands on data. In even…
