Tutorial-How to Import RLTM to Metamask

Importing RLTM into Metamask is a straightforward process requiring a few simple steps. You can easily access your holdings and seamlessly interact with the Reality Metaverse ecosystem by importing the tokens into your wallet. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process.

Step 1: Access Metamask

First, ensure the Metamask extension is installed in your web browser.

If you don’t have the extension, we need to add it before we proceed. You can visit the following link and find the instructions for installation on various browsers: https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/360015489531-Getting-started-with-MetaMask.

Next, open the Metamask extension. If you’re not already logged in, enter your credentials to access your wallet.

Step 2: Choose the Network

Before importing, decide which network you want to add RLTM. Tokens are available on both Ethereum and Polygon networks.

To switch networks in Metamask:

1. Locate the network selection dropdown menu at the top of the Metamask extension.
2. Click on it, and a list of available networks will appear.
3. Choose Ethereum or Polygon, depending on your preference and the network on which you hold the RLTM tokens.

Additionally, if you don’t see your desired network on the menu, you can use the “Add Network” button to find and append the network you wish to use.

Step 3: Navigate to Token Import

Once logged in, locate the “Import Tokens” button at the bottom of the extension and click on it.

Step 4: Switch to the “Custom Token” Tab

After clicking on the “Import Tokens”, a new window will open. In this window, you’ll find multiple tabs. Switch to the “Custom Token” tab.

Step 5: Copy and Paste the Contract Address

To import RLTM tokens, you must provide the RLTM token’s contract address.

Copy the address and go back to the Metamask window. Paste it into the marked empty field. When you paste the RLTM token contract address, the remaining two fields (Token Symbol and Decimal) will be automatically filled based on the token’s contract information.

Step 6: Add the Custom Token

After the token contract address and the corresponding fields are populated, click the “Add Custom Token” button. This action will add RLTM as a custom token to your Metamask wallet.

Then a new window will appear. Once again, click on the “Import Token” button to finalize the import process.

Step 8: Access RLTM Tokens

Congratulations! You have successfully imported RLTM tokens into your Metamask wallet.
