It seems to me it is quite the contrary, based on articles and blogs, and the people I meet. Young women are very frustrated, worried, and single. Men complain but get it, though often with women they prefer to not talk about socially (they are not pretty enough so it would be badly seen socially).
As they get older, men are much more satisfied, and women even more so, I suppose both men and women learn a thing or two about the other gender.
