Two More Curatorial Case Studies
Pontus Hulten was a Swedish curator who played a huge role in the transformation of the job in the nineteenth century. He worked at establishments such as Moderna Museet and Centre Pompidou where he pushed the boundaries of the traditional curatorial style into what we know today. In particular he fought to break down the barriers between visual arts, music, literature, science, and life working with multiple mediums in one show.

Saying that it is also paired with a uniqueness and in my opinion he gets the balance just right between tradition and creating a new experience.

The perfectly set images scattered across the wall as seen in the picture above is an example of what I am trying to coney. This incorporation of the theme of the exhibition in the very hanging of the art is what I really admire about Bakers curatorial style.
