We love #3, hiring the best people, the most! Although it really should be called hiring the right people. Without a solid team backing up your product/service, you won’t see productivity and success. Excitement-fit or passion-fit, as you mentioned, are better ways to put it than culture fit. Often, employers get culture fit hiring confused with hiring exactly the same people as they already have. Nope! It’s about encouraging diversity and differences in opinions, but still finding people who mesh with your vision. Thanks for sharing this! All the tips are invaluable.
