Here is why your Wolves’ ranking is too low. They’ve never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever EVER moved “up” in the lottery when they’ve had the chance to. (If you’re counting, that’s one “ever” for each of the 18 times it’s happened.)

The year the Wolves got the #1 pick, they were actually the worst team. Sure the team has made some horrific draft picks over the years in retrospect, but the ping pong balls have never, not once, helped improve their draft spot.

But yeah, somehow the Wolves are 9th on this list.
