Wasting time on useless things became number 1 on my list. Since then, I track my time with Rescuetime and find out when I am just wasting time online. This allows me to save a lot of time. A second tool that I bought is the freelancer cheat sheet. This allows me to find clients faster so that I can spend more time with my family.
