It is an interesting point of view as I’ve understood practicing minimalism as focusing on what truely matters to oneself — be it big or small. It’s important to be grateful for what you have, but that does not mean you can’t strive to be better, to do great things. Some people enjoy the job of a sales assistent in a clothing store, spending all day making other people feel pretty. Some people want to be presidents, make decisions that impact millions of lives. Nothing wrong with desiring either path as long as it brings meaning to your life.
