I don’t cry very often (when my wife and kids learned I had stage 4 cancer, when dad died and had a military ceremony and when my brother’s daughter Kristy was killed a year after his son had committed suicide). When I read the girl’s exchange with the cop in the convenience store, I cried; I immediately felt what both were feeling.
Best read and article on racism in America so far. More importantly, what we, as leaders can do and how we can handle racism at work. Not just in tech, but in every work environment. Well done.
