Reign FC finished its preseason with a 2-0 win over the University of Washington in a match on Friday at the Moda Pitch at Memorial Stadium.

Seattle opened the scoring during the 12th minute as defender Kendall Fletcher sent a through ball past the Washington back-line, allowing Foxhoven to chip the goalkeeper for a 1–0 lead.

In the 69th minute, Amber Brooks played a through ball to forward Merritt Mathias who cut the ball back and played a low, hard cross into the box. Beverly Yanez collected the pass with her first touch before turning and placing her shot past the Husky goalkeeper to put away the second and final goal of the night.
