Seattle Reign FC has announced the re-signing of forward Kiersten Dallstream for the 2017 NWSL season. Dallstream has been with the club since 2013. Per team and league policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
“Kiersten is obviously someone that’s been part of the squad since day one,” said Seattle Reign FC head coach and general manager Laura Harvey. “She has developed her game over the last 18 months, and physically has gotten in a lot better shape than she was before. I think last year she proved she can come in and have a real impact in games.”
Dallstream made 12 appearances for Reign FC during the 2016 season, including two starts. The forward has made 55 appearances all-time for the club, amassing 2566 minutes played. She has also provided one assist.
“I know that she wants to push to start which is great,” said Harvey. “Her pace and direct run in is something that, especially in training, the girls fear and we want to try and get that a lot more against the opposition this year.”
