Seattle Reign FC has announced they have waived midfielder Michaela Hahn.

“Michaela has come in a worked really hard for us,” said Seattle Reign FC head coach and general manager. “We couldn’t get her the game time we wanted to. We had a conversation about what she wants out of her career. She wants to go and play and that’s something I can’t offer her right now. She’s a fantastic player and a great pro. We wish her all the best in the future.”

Reign FC picked up Hahn off waivers in April. In her rookie season with the Western New York Flash, Hahn made 13 appearances, starting eight. Hahn, the 9th overall pick in the 2016 NWSL College Draft, tallied one goal and one assist during the Flash’s championship season.

Reign FC return to Memorial Stadium on July 22nd when they host Special Olympics Night presented by Microsoft and face Sky Blue FC. Single match tickets and VIP experience packages are available. To purchase tickets, visit reignfc.com/tickets or call the Reign FC ticket office at (855) REIGN-FC.
