New Zealand women’s national team head coach Tony Readings has announced the roster for the team’s upcoming friendlies against the United States in September. Seattle Reign FC defender Rebekah Stott is among the 23 players selected.

Stott returns to the roster after being called in for the Cyprus Cup in March. The defender started all four matches, playing the full 90 in each match as New Zealand finished in 9th place. In NWSL play, Stott has appeared in 19 matches for the club this season, starting 15 and totaling 1,456 minutes, and has tallied one assist.

The first match between New Zealand and the U.S. is set for Friday, September 15th at 7:00pm PT at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. The match can be seen on ESPN2. The teams will face off again Tuesday, September 19th at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kickoff is set for 4:30pm PT and the match will be broadcast on FS1.
