Seattle Reign FC Sign Forward Jaycie Johnson as a National Team Replacement Player
Seattle Reign FC today announced the signing of forward Jaycie Johnson as a National Team Replacement Player.
Johnson was drafted 27th overall in the 2017 NWSL College Draft by the North Carolina Courage, but was sidelined for the entire 2017 campaign with a knee injury. While in college, Johnson was a standout at the University of Nebraska where she scored 42 goals in her collegiate career. She was named to the All-Big Ten First Team her senior season. Johnson also spent time with the U.S. U-23 side in 2015.
Seattle Reign FC will continue their 2018 NWSL Regular Season on Sunday, April 12 when they take on Sky Blue FC at 2:00 p.m. PT at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, NJ.
