Vote for NWSL Goal of the Week and Save of the Week
The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) have announced the Goal of the Week and Save of the Week nominees for Week 14 of the 2017 NWSL season. Reign FC forward Megan Rapinoe and goalkeeper Haley Kopmeyer are among the nominees.
NWSL leading goal scorer Megan Rapinoe is nominated for NWSL Goal of the Week. Rapinoe scored three goals in Saturday’s match, bringing her goal total this season to 12. It was Rapinoe’s first hat trick since the 2015 NWSL season.
Rapinoe opened the scoring in the 27th minute of the match with a free kick from 30 yards out. The forward curled the ball around the Sky Blue FC wall and just inside the post past a diving Kailen Sheridan.
