Shows You Can’t Miss in 2016

Whether 2016 is going to be a great year for your relationships, career or personal goals is yet to be seen, but one thing is certain: it’s going to be a great year for television! Check out some of our “can’t miss” shows in 2016.

American Crime
The second season of American Crime premiered on January 6th and people are loving it. With the same core cast from last year, this season has moved its set to Indianapolis and is focused on rape accusations within a private school community. This commanding season tackles important issues and guarantees to keep you on the edge of your seat. Don’t miss it!

Fuller House
The iconic show from our childhood is making a comeback with a storyline centered on D.J. Tanner, her three children and longtime best friend, Kimmy Gibbler. This 13-episode spinoff premieres on February 26th, and while our favorite child stars, Mary-Kate and Ashley, will not be making an appearance, the rest of the gang will. We can’t wait to see how Uncle Jesse has transformed and if Kimmy is out of her rebellious stage. Extra bonus to see which iconic SF sights are included this time around!

Shades of Blue
The latest crime drama to hit the airwaves is focused on Harlee Santos, played by Jennifer Lopez, and her moral battle over doing the right thing as a single mother to her 16-year-old daughter or covering up the dirty work of her fellow police officers. The show opens with a taped confession where Lopez says, “I always wanted to be a good cop. There’s no straight line to that. I always told myself the ends would justify the means. Now that I’m at the end, I can’t justify anything.” Within moments, this show will have you hooked and will leave you feeling anxious to see how Lopez turns things around.

Vinyl
The 2-hour pilot airs on February 14th and delves into sex, drugs, and rock and roll scandals of the 1970s as New York music executive Richie Finestra, played by Bobby Cannavale, tries to navigate the scene. Co-created by Terence Winter and Martin Scorsese, we’ve never looked forward to Valentine’s Day more!

Whichever show you pick as your next guilty pleasure, know that we’ll be there right alongside you, watching!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
