Understanding “I”
We are encouraged to engage the world- it’s in our nature as human beings. What is amazing is producing content that touches the minds of people around the world, but to see my work being appreciated by my fellow American’s is always a little more touching.

My preference in my American audience is purely based on an idea, not team favoritism or biased nationalism, but in the idea of America, not simply the geographic location. Rugged individualism, seen by many as a myth to put down the unproductive, is as tied to the American experiment as a man is to his bones. Americans were meant to be unrestrained, not simply unchained by state enforced laws that restrained the natural liberties of men but to be free of the mental barriers of the failure to succeed.
The world is at our finger tips, the tools to do amazing things and to pave new paths is there, but I find myself surrounded by those that don’t want to turn nothing into something, but become slaves to mindless consumerism and a nanny state mindset. These are men who take every instruction for everything- when to eat, where to work, what to think, where to go to school, who to be with, wash, rinse, repeat. Where is the drive to create? Where is the thirst to innovate?
It seems innovators even in a post Obama world are seen as egotistical, out for themselves, and ruthless. That assumption is true, but it was true before Obama was here and it will be here past him, Trump, and everyone else. I am egotistical because that, as Ayn Rand once said, “Is the fountainhead of human progress.” To believe that you can create something and it can be something of value first means that you have to believe in yourself. The creator and innovator looks out for themselves because no one else does, they live and die by their own efforts and place their life and sacred honor on what they produce. The innovator is ruthless, not in the greedy or sinister sense, but in the mind that one should state their intentions honestly and be firm in their decision making process, objective and unwilling to bring themselves down so others can be brought up. This can only be done when one understands that “I” is to claim you alone justify your worth, no other being has that right over you.
I create content for the sake of my own selfish end to gain, the goal that you think for yourself. Individuals who seek honest relationships and produce for their own gain have no need to coerce, steal, or unjustly harm their neighbor. More than that I want a beautiful future, a future that can only be amazing with the help of other productive individuals that want to create a future they themselves want as much as I.
I am proud of my work, I know my worth, and I am proud to succeed and fail all on my own terms.
