The 21st Century Small Community Air Service Development Program Act (H.R. 973)

6/28/2017

Wouldn’t it be nice to have more non-stop flights to more cities from El Paso?

Last night, the 21st Century Small Community Air Service Development Program Act (H.R. 973), a bill I introduced with my Republican colleagues Congressman Doug Lamborn of Colorado and Congressman Will Hurd of Texas passed out of House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee as part of a larger bill related to the Federal Aviation Administration.

This bill will make small airports like El Paso eligible for federal grants to help attract more carriers, more visitors, and more non-stop flights to and from El Paso.
