The Red River Gradient Boundary Survey Act (HR 428)

Yesterday the House voted on the Red River Gradient Boundary Survey Act (HR 428).

This bill makes the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) commission a survey on a contested area of land along the Red River between Texas and Oklahoma.

This survey will help landowners and the government determine who owns what parcel of land and provide certainty to both private land owners and the federal government.

I voted for this bill which passed the House by a vote of 250–171.
