For those of you who are unfamiliar with Sue and Mary– these two are well-known in the district and around the world for their wonderful cheeses. Sue is the co-founder of Cowgirl Creamery in Marin County and has won the James Beard Award for her contributions to the food industry. Mary is the founder of Cyprus Grove Creamery in Humboldt County and her most famous cheese, Humboldt Fog, has won countless awards — including Gold at the World Cheese Awards.

We spend time discussing the work Sue and Mary do to bring local, artisanal cheeses into the spotlight while highlighting some of our district’s most spectacular landmarks. I am glad to discuss the incredible commitment my guests share in leading the sustainable food and artisan cheese movement in the North Bay.
