It is back to school season across Northern Ohio and a good time to refocus on helping children read!
Reading is a very important part of our lives, and our children’s success in school depends on it. Taking just 20 minutes each day to read with children can have an important impact on academic success. Join me and the Ninth Congressional District in my Read to Succeed challenge and you can help ensure our children are prepared to read, as they discover the magic in books.
Experts say that children should be well on their way to knowing or using four thousand words by kindergarten, so our community needs to work together to help children begin their reading adventure as early as possible.
