Emotional Intelligence
Learning comes with making mistakes and attempting to succeed at something but having struggles along the way.
This is in fact a healthy method because the part about struggling is that it’s a good thing. It means that one person is trying and struggling because they are trying but have trouble along the way. Having trouble or struggles with anything in life is normal! We all should accept, respect and understand that!
At the root of this dilemma is the way we view mental health in this country. Whether an illness affects your heart, your leg or your brain, it’s still an illness, and there should be no distinction. – Michelle Obama
As important as physical health is, mental health fits into that group more than worthy and vitally enough. Mental health fits into health more than others may imagine or think it may be.

Mental health is also known for the label: mental wellbeing and wellness. Like when you go into Walmart or Shoppers Drug Mar, there’s an isle that is titled as: Health And Wellness. Wellness and wellbeing can be covered as mental illness products such as antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs prescribed by your doctor, vitamins, facial and personal hygiene products, even aromatherapy and other mood and mental stuff.
For example, at Bath & Body Works, they have their aromatherapy collection which includes scents of: Eucalyptus Spearmint, Eucalyptus tea, Orange Ginger, Lavender Vanilla and much more. Certain scents can be used for one purpose: like a sleep remedy, stress relief, in times of need when experiencing insomnia (Eucalyptus Spearmint did great for me during my troubles with insomnia), sensual scents and much else.
Take a look on their website or visit their store nearby to check out their collection for those who are seeking/looking for help/solutions to your mental illnesses/mental health issues.

I would like to talk about our thoughts. Our mental health. As important as our mental health and our brain is to each one of us, I’d like to get a conversation going on seeing how each one of us responds to all our thoughts.
How do we respond? Do we easily believe them? Or do we try to find any real logical thinking that’s somehow ethical to what caused that thought or what may seem to be logical with why we feel that way or what kind of action any kind of thought encourages?
Emotional intelligence is something that can be used and very well benefited in all areas of life and for everyone as well with other practices such as mindfulness, gratitude, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy and much else to help improve, strengthen and heal your mental health in all times and scenarios.
Instead of saying “I’m damaged, I’m broken, I have trust issues” say “I’m healing, I’m rediscovering myself, I’m starting over. Positive self talk. ~ Horacio Jones
We all have had that habit of only focusing on the bad and the negatives. We think: “what if…the bad…” but what if good things happen? What if we do well and don’t end up dying and the world still exists and hasnt ended, what would you do? What would you do if the strength was found? As quoted in a lyric from Nickelback’s song, The Hammer's Coming Down.
It’s all about changing the way we think and the things around us start to change. And if you want to earn and receive greater rewards and outcomes, you must stay strong and make the commitment to stay on track and all that you can in each moment and look for the lessons in each moment to gradually become better as a human being and more like the person that you were always meant to be!
And trust me, it’s more than worth everything you put into it. The process and everything you work hard in and for, will become worthwhile with time. Just imagine your life if you made the commitment and reached greater levels/stages of your life and were experiencing the rewards and outcomes that you intended to achieve. Imagine what that would feel and look like? Now let that be your guide, your motivation to stay strong and continue working hard and it will be more worthy than you may even know in this very moment!
Creativity, not normality, has become the paradigm of mental health. – Stephen Mitchell
Creativity is something that can be very well benefited and useful to healing and recovering with mental illness and improving your mental health. Creativity is about coming up with creative, fun ideas to problems, creating art for self expression, which is also beneficial for healing with mental illness!
Art is a great way to express oneself during any moment in life. Art can be music, drawing; colouring as well with stress relief, dance and drama such as musicals, and other forms.
What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, more unashamed conversation. – Glenn Close
It’s all within your control to change “YOUR” life!
