Selena Gomez

Selena’s mental issues: read to find out more

Have been thinking about Selena Gomez after bringing topic up with my sister Emily. Selena canceled the rest of her Revival tour to dedicate, focus on her health from her lupus coming back worse since July and experiencing intense or severe side effects of depression and anxiety given from the physical illness she’s had since her diagnosis in 2014 during her Stars Dance tour in which she also cancelled as well.

Found a magazine (one that my mom normally reads) and mentioned about Selena Gomez’s recent discoveries with her health concerns and struggles. Read the article, was completely sad for all that she’s going through but glad she decided to take time off of her career and reevaluate her life creatively and personally with her lupus getting worse with it’s side effects and all.

Anyway, her article is in “In Touch” August 15, 2016's magazine issue. Check it out if you can or look it up online. What are your thoughts? I’m definitely praying for her in this struggling time she’s going through.

Please don’t hate Selena because she was mean about Justin Bieber on the David Letterman show (recently) Ur better than that. “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” meaning “Don’t judge someone by what you hear”

With all that she has been going with with her lupus and side effects with depression, anxiety and panic attacks, she deserves to be treated better than the haters if you are one yourself reading this right now; she’s dedicating more time in her life to work on herself, better herself mentally and emotionally. And as well as taking enough time to analyze her past years and see what she feels would be good for her career wise.

“I think it’s safe to say that most of you know a lot of my life, whether I like it or not. I had to stop, ‘cause I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside,” she said.

“I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down.”

She added, “I don’t want to see your bodies on Instagram. I want to see what’s in here. I’m not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore.”

Selena said she was grateful for her fans’ undying support over the past few months. “All I can say from the bottom of my heart is I am so grateful I have the opportunity to share what I love with people that I love, and I have to say thank you so much to my fans because you guys are so damn loyal and I don’t know what I did to deserve you.”

At the end of her speech, she had a heartwarming message for everyone that led the audience to cheers.

“If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. And if that’s anything, whether you respect me or not, one thing you should know about is I care about people and thank you so much for this. This for you.”
