It’s Not Fair

or how I feel about missing food items

I have been trying to lose weight lately. I joined a gym. I started eating more healthy. I even do yoga at my work with two other coworkers in the wee hours of the morning.

Occasionally, I go to a food spot up the road from my work and get what I think is a pretty decent meal. Rotisserie chicken, green beans and charo beans. The meal comes with a tortilla, which i usually decline seeing how it is all carbs. Today, I was the only one to show up for yoga, but instead of skimping, I worked extra hard. I actually sweated a little bit. I felt good about myself, especially since I had Zumba after work.

To reward myself, I went to the local food stop and decided to order enchiladas instead of the much-better-for-me chicken. I assume they remembered me recent visits, because when I opened my plate at my work’s break room, there was no tortilla. Come on. I finally got a plate of authentic Mexican food and there is no tortilla. This is injustice. 1st world injustice, of course.
