Being a Fighter.

By Ria Arya.

Today, I’ve actually heard quite a lot of complaining by peoplefor various things. For example, their bosses, their ‘oh so messed up’ lives etc. And you know, this sets me thinking what exactly is WRONG with us! I mean, we’ve just passed our decision on life without even considering various perspectives! And that’s not how t should be. Everyone is busy searching for their ‘comfort-zones’ , not realizing this is how LIFE really is! It’s NEVER a ‘happily-ever-after’ fairytale! It’s mean, irritating, challenging, and cruel. And it is OUR JOB to find happiness in it! To mak it a place to be happy living it in! Cribbing is always the easier part! I’m not saying that I am very brave or something, but all I AM saying is that I HAVE learnt how to ADAPT to it WITHOUT daily complaining sessions! For a 14-year-old life will be much different from the one I live in and maybe many more. I mean ‘people often misunderstand teens’ is just a misconception. Matter-of -factly, it’s vice-versa! TEENS usually misunderstand people. Not intentionally, but we just FEEL that way. Maybe there’s a lack of freedom (according to some) or the ‘wrong’ atmosphere; in short, there’s ALWAYS scope for complaining. that IS human nature! One just NEEDS more and more. And that’s okay. But it sometimes goes a bit over-the-top. Sometimes others get tired of you to keep complaining about something. Once is okay, twice is okay, thrice is still bearable, but the fourth time it causes an outburst. So being very cranky is also not very helpful. You just HAVE TO deal with whatever life throws at you! Because it just HAS TO BE. Think of it as ‘ this too shall pass’. Not only for the bad times but also for the good ones because it’s true for both. Be a FIGHTER. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Remember, ‘what BREAKS you, MAKES you’. And emerge as a courageous and beautiful you, inside-out.

See you tomorrow,

Ria Arya.
