Wow Richard – what a horror story. Glad you got it sorted in the end. If you’re still looking for a new home, I business bank with Santander and have not had a single problem with them in 8 years and customer support has always been trouble free. As an added bonus, their online banking has been designed by someone familiar with the concept of good UX, which is always a nice surprise in the world of banking (though I can’t say the same for their mobile app).
