Celtics interested in Kyrie?
Crazy offseason continues Celtics Extra

First reported by @ZachLowe of ESPN on Monday, the Celtics made the keep me in the loop trade call to Cleveland expressing interest on the 4x All Star Kyrie Irving.
Several rumors have come to light recently that Kyrie is unhappy of the situation in Cleveland, as he does not want to be live in LeBron´s shadow anymore.
He wants to be the guy.
The Celtics will always find themselves involved in some kind of trade rumor for the fact that we can offer some intriguing pieces and assets (No, you cannot have TERRY ROZIER! OFF LIMITS).
Jokes aside, the Celtics have the assets to make a blockbuster trade for Kyrie if interested. From Jae´s team friendly contract, the gift from the Nets that keeps on giving and key role players that other team would very much like.
Kyrie is coming off a successful season (to say the least) averaging 25.2 points, fourth best in the east behind our own, Isaiah, DeRozan and his partner in crime, Lebron James. While dishing out 5.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals.
Seems like the ideal package would be a PG swap, sending Isaiah, Crowder and a future 1st round pick to The Land in exchange for Kyrie.
But is Kyrie a better fit in Boston than Thomas?
Last season, Kyrie averaged 35.2 points per 36 mins with LeBron on the bench, but the Cavs in the past 3 years, are an absurd 4–21 in the games Lebron does not play. Yikes.
How about Clevelands record before LeBron´s decision part 2?
2010–11: 19–43
2011–12: 21–45
2012–13: 24- 58
2013–14: 33- 49
Not great. But Kyrie was 22 years old at the time and the team around him wasn´t that great.
Isaiah and Kyrie were somewhat comparable players last season, both had the same atrocious defensive rating, 108.6 for IT, 109.1 for Kyrie.
Isaiah scored more points, and was more efficient doing so and dished out more assists.
You be the judge, should the Celtics pull the unthinkable and trade with the rivals from The Land, or keep building with the mighty Thomas towards the banner 18?
This will shape out to be a very interesting off season.
