Great news Celtics Nation, Isaiah will NOT need a hip surgery.

Isaiah exited game 2 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals with a hip injury and never returned to the series, which the good guys lost in 5 games.

Isaiah is making good progress,” Ainge said. “He’s out on the court; he’s shooting. He’s full-speed ahead on the stationary bike and working in the swimming pool. He’s progressing nicely.”

Isaiah had originally injured it back in March 15 in a game against the Timberwolves during the 3rd quarter, and missed the next 2 games. Like mentioned before, he later aggravated the same injury in game 2.

We cannot know for sure yet if this injury will effect Isaiah and how he plays beginning next season, but with the signing of Hayward in free agency, the Celtics have another great go to scorer that will help take some of the load from IT´s shoulder.
