Timothy Francis Robbins is an Oscar-winning actor, producer, director, screenwriter and also an activist and a musician. He was born at West Covina, California on October 16th, 1958 of British, German and French descent, but grew up in City of New York, where his acting career began whe he was still a child. He is famous for his roles in the movies “Bull Durham” (1988), “The Shawshank Redemption” (1994), and “Mystic River” (2003).

In his personal life, Robbins started engaged with actress Susan Sarandon in 1988, and the couple has two sons. They have common liberal political views, however, their relationship ended in December 2009.

Tim is also a big fan ofbaseball and hockey. Hence supporting his New York teams: the Mets and the Rangers and often goes to games. Robbins is also a qualified ice hockey player.
