Pure Michigan at the Olympics

The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio have arrived! Michiganders statewide will be cheering on Team USA for their favorite events. Be sure to tune into men’s and women’s basketball to witness a slice of Pure Michigan more than 5,000 miles away.

Take special note of the basketball courts, made by Connor Sports Mill in Amasa in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The courts are made out of a special kind of Pure Michigan maple, and we are very excited to see them displayed at the Rio Olympics. Congratulations, Connor Sports, for such a huge achievement. You make Michigan and Team USA proud.

Don’t forget to cheer on all of our Michigan athletes competing in the Olympics!
