Good stuff here, I hope you go more existential with this train of thought
Using the light= “truth” metaphor, not only we can’t see light properly but the simple fact that not one of us have ever been exposed to direct sunlight,might be relevant.
We have always had a layers of magnetosphere, troposphere and various layers of atmosphere protecting us.
It’s possible that direct access to “truth” might antithetical to survival in a purely psychological sense.
