The Theif

I’ve never seen a more peaceful sea than at the hands of the monster that ruled it.

A feeling of safety in the waters that it watched over was comforting.

A safety that I floated across as i drifted past the wisdom of such an insidious creature.

I passed through it’s fingers and was cradled by it’s essence.

It admired me as I admired it, but was this the day?

No.

Death was not an option for me.

Just a plague of the memories that be, when I shared the sea, with a monster.
