A former official in the United States Treasury Department, Robb LaKritz now leads a successful career as a Washington, DC-based real estate investment and development professional. With his business partner, Joshua Adler, Robb LaKritz has owned and operated LaKritz Adler Development, LLC for more than a decade. Since launching the firm in 2004, the two men have completed a number of notable projects in the Washington, DC, area, including the renovations of the Veritas Building and the Watha T. Daniels House.

Conveniently located on the corner of Connecticut and Florida Avenues, the Veritas Building is a multi-story office building that sits just blocks from the DuPont Circle Metro Station. Nearly vacant for many years, LaKritz Adler revitalized the neoclassical structure into a thriving commercial space abuzz with activity. Businesses that have since called the Veritas Building home have included a regional law firm, a dry cleaner, and the Veritas Wine Bar.

With its arched windows and cast-iron Juliet balconies, the Watha T. Daniels House features a toned-down historic style that is characteristic of many 20th Century structures. After serving as the residence and place of business for noted civic leader Watha T. Daniels, the building fell into disrepair while sitting vacant for an extended period. In the process of completely restoring the building, the team at LaKritz Adler rebuilt structures and replaced a collapsed roof while maintaining its historic feel.
