We’re all socialists now…

During the last year the MSM have been tripping up over themselves trying to get Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell et al to “admit” that they are socialists. They haven’t done this in an effort to be informative or educational but as a soft smear. MSM are basically all right wing, from the BBC to the Guardian and all channels / newspapers inbetween. When they are making a person say, “Yes, I’m a socialist” they are inviting the disdain and fear of the general public. They are showing the population at large that these are dangerous, left wing loonies who can’t be trusted with government.
 
 However, there has been a gradual sea change. There were general guffaws when Chuka Umunna said he was a socialist in a newspaper article earlier this year. Just lately though, everyone is espousing their socialism. Owen Smith, Labour Leadership candidate, even alluded to being a passionate socialist:

Amazing what a huge increase of left wing party members can do. Apparently, we’re all socialists now and it’s no longer a dirty word. Actions, however, speak louder than words and no-one’s actions speak socialism louder than Jeremy Corbyn’s…. Unless you’re Jess Phillips that is, who bizarrely tweeted:
