It is absolutely true. There are voice recordings of her speaking about the case and laughing over the fact that her client was able to pass a polygraph test. Since coming under scrutiny after the matter was brought to public attention last year Clinton has claimed she asked to be replaced as the defendant’s representative, but whether this is true is unclear. The prior evidence seems to strongly contradict it.
As for the accused right to a competent defense, I believe that anyone who claims to be a feminist and advocate for the rights of victims cannot, while believing the defendant to be guilty, accept such an assignment in good conscience. I believe the only ethical thing to do would be to withdraw. The fact that Hillary has (I remind you, only since last year) begun claiming she asked to be replaced suggests she understands this view.
What of her treatment of her husband’s accusers? Have you anything to say about that?
