I understand the argument although it’s a little thin: but then, most NBA analysts thought Washington and Toronto were better than the C’s, received wisdom being that you need a couple superstars to compete, and the only one the C’s have is 5'8. Personally I think that without the crazy injuries, the C’s would have pushed the Cavs to six games, maybe seven. They also match up with GS about as well as any team in the league. Which isn’t to say that they’re on the same level as either of those two teams, just that they’re closer than most people think.
