Is the Lenny Letter’s Guide to Cooking Homemade Meals Realistic? Let’s Find Out
Nicole Dieker

My two person household spends $200/month on groceries (not including alcohol) and that covers breakfasts and dinners at home. I’m lucky that both my partner and I feel the same way about leftovers, in that we love them! Most of our go-to meals make enough main dishes for 6 meals (3 dinners), so we alternate two sets of those and add veggies/bread as needed. Even with two of us available to cook/clean, making a new dinner every night sounds like a ton of work.
