Statistically speaking, transgender individuals experience violence at higher rates than even other members of the LGBTQ community.

Sadly, what I have taken to calling the white male lGbt community is not as supportive of the T — which, ironically, was the inspiration and igniting spark for the entire LGBT revolution in the first place — as it once was. With few exceptions, the LGBT movement has been reduced to just one more good ol’ boys’ club.

If we can’t even support each other, what chance do we have of ever being accepted bye society at large?
