This is even more disturbing when the discrimination comes from within the LGBTQ community itself as this creates a vicious cycle that can be difficult to break.

More and more the LGBT community has disintegrated into a white male “good ol’ boys” club. Given that the entire movement was begun in the first place by a group of Trans women of color, I find it deeply disturbing.

If we can’t accept each other, what hope do we have for being accepted by society at large?
