Reusing Daily.

What my lunch bag looks like on any given day. I use containers for almost everything reducing the use (and waste) of plastic bags. If you typically bring your lunch to work, using a paper bag, a plastic bag or ziplocks- I encourage you to grab a couple reusable containers instead! Cheaper overall as you can use them so many times!

I always have a reuseable water bottle! Ir’s rare to see someone with a plastic bottle — wait, we still use those? I have a goal to drink more water daily and I keep elastics on my wrist/water bottle to signify how much water I have drank for the day. The system works well and is free! If you arnt getting at least half your body weight in ounces of water — we should chat! I am very passionate about water intake.

In the second pic you can see my snack bags. I purchased a few years ago at a craft fair. Locally made and well made! You can get them with velcro or zippers (I prefer the zip) I mainly keep dry food in here and a shake out daily and a wash once a week is all you need. I use the larger zip bag for sandwiches or sometimes veggies. Smaller bags are great for snacks such as crackers, goldfish or cookies…

My partner uses a sandwich keeper that I actually got from having a Tupperware party. He is lucky, his work supplied a panini press so his regular sandwiches go from okay to delicious with a slice of cheese. He takes a sandwich to work almost everyday, using his sandwich keeper!

It’s these simple and small changes I do on a daily basis that make me feel good about my choices and how it affects my environment, my waste and overtime — my wallet!
