Hey David nice article. I have came from a similar background as you, from the old ways of Notator on the Atari st. Eurorack for me is exiting because if you stumble onto something that’s real cool, it has to be captured because the next time you power up, it’s either different or you have lost the idea. Plus the ways in which you can come across different timings and odd ways to modulate things, well you can’t do that in the digital world.

I don’t craft a whole track on my modular but rather use it as a sound source or rhythmical source then record it and lock it down digitally.
