The Worlds Roleplaying System
The worlds system allows you to create, maintain, and manage your own miniature RolePages, based on any setting, scene, or location that you like. As the creator of the world, you will have full control over how it is set up, what it looks like, and who can and can not join.
During the world creation process, you will be able to name it, choose a world display picture, and enter basic information about it. You will also have a chance to choose which features you would like to include in the world.
Text Box: This is a space where you can write a detailed description of the setting. This can include pictures, and even videos, inviting people into the world that you have created.
Wall: This is a public place where anyone can post a comment, and reply to other people’s comments. This often acts as the “lobby” for the world, where introductions are made, and scenes are arranged.
Forum: This is where things really get going. The forum allows members to post threads, which can be used for role playing and story interactions. Each of these forum threads can act as a location, a place in time, or a specific scene. The initial post sets the stage, then characters interact within that environment, by replying to the thread, and then to one another.
RSS: This allows you to post aggregate feeds from other websites. This can be used if you want a character blog or some other RSS enabled section of the site to show up on your world home page.
Example: If there is a world named Camelot, then the wall would be the courtyard where people first arriving in the city congregate. Then each forum post would be a different location: The Stables, The Barracks — Or a different scene: The Siege of Camelot, The Marriage of Arthur and Guenevere.
