I’m not sure what more you think I could have done. The parts you highlighted took place before Danny started stalking me, when we were basically still friends. Once I determined Danny’s behavior was a serious problem I asked him clearly and firmly to stop. I never encouraged him romantically in any way-which I realize I never stated explicitly but I didn’t think I had to.
